Meet Silvia Guanoluisa
As the founder and CEO of Lice In Sight, Inc., she brings a wealth of experience in education, having worked as a teacher with children and youth in Quito, Ecuador. Subsequently, she continued her work in New York City, accumulating over 18 years of experience as a childcare provider and offering high-quality early childhood education.
As a former director of a group family childcare center, Silvia developed strong leadership and health management skills. During this period, she identified cases of head lice among the children and took appropriate measures—adhering to health and safety protocols—while communicating with parents regarding treatment. This experience sparked her interest in the effective management and prevention of head lice.
Driven by her commitment to children's well-being and her belief in continuous professional growth, Silvia embarked on a new career path. She trained as a certified head lice treatment technician, acquiring specialized knowledge in the elimination, treatment, and prevention of pediculosis. Today, she provides support to families, schools, childcare centers, and summer camp programs through professional and reliable services.
Her treatment philosophy emphasizes the complete elimination of all head lice and nits using safe, non-chemical methods—without resorting to heat-based treatments.
